Artist's Description
The window scene was shot from the second story of the Oldest House in Saint Augusine, Florida, where one of the owners was cared for by his wife after being disabled. The refelction of the madonna-like woman was added later as I imagined the caretaker longing to go outside into the sunshine and garden.

Although I grew up with an interest in art, it was not until my senior year in college that I discovered my "voice" in photography. Using traditional darkroom methods, I continued to shoot, print, exhibit, and grow in my personal vision. In the late 1990's, I had the chance to take photography courses at one of the best 2-year programs in the country, and in 2002 I completed my degree in Photography at Daytona State College.
