Window with Pink Wall Canvas Print

The reflection in this window in Saint Augustine, Florida, was mirrow-like in the morning sun. The window is typical of the style in old Saint Augustine, and the window box with small flowers was in the same color hue as the lovely rose-colored wall. A digital watercolor effect has been applied to bring out the subtle tones of the wall as well as the clear reflection in the glass panes.

And how do you see the world around you? How do you interpret and filter what you see? I see light, shape, form, gesture, and the "decisive moment." I see questions and feelings in the world around me. For me, photography evolves from my inner vision and thoughts, and I concentrate on artistic expression. Although I grew up with an interest in art, it was not until my senior year in college that I discovered my "voice" in photography. Using traditional darkroom methods, I continued to shoot, print, exhibit, and grow in my personal vision. In the late 1990's, I had the chance to take photography courses at one of the best 2-year programs in the country, and in 2002 I completed my degree in Photography at Daytona State College. I show...
