When my grandparents sold their home in the early 1970's, my parents moved some of these lilies to their home. When we sold their home last year, I moved some of these to my property. I love seeing the blooms and remembering their past!
And how do you see the world around you? How do you interpret and filter what you see? I see light, shape, form, gesture, and the "decisive moment." I see questions and feelings in the world around me. For me, photography evolves from my inner vision and thoughts, and I concentrate on artistic expression. Although I grew up with an interest in art, it was not until my senior year in college that I discovered my "voice" in photography. Using traditional darkroom methods, I continued to shoot, print, exhibit, and grow in my personal vision. In the late 1990's, I had the chance to take photography courses at one of the best 2-year programs in the country, and in 2002 I completed my degree in Photography at Daytona State College.
