I love this stretch of highway 20 along Choctawhatchee Bay with all its memories. I remember driving out to Nick's on the bay with my parents so many years ago, and Nick's is still in business. During one drive, the sun was setting over the bay, what peace comes over the bay this time of day!

And how do you see the world around you? How do you interpret and filter what you see? I see light, shape, form, gesture, and the "decisive moment." I see questions and feelings in the world around me. For me, photography evolves from my inner vision and thoughts, and I concentrate on artistic expression. Although I grew up with an interest in art, it was not until my senior year in college that I discovered my "voice" in photography. Using traditional darkroom methods, I continued to shoot, print, exhibit, and grow in my personal vision. In the late 1990's, I had the chance to take photography courses at one of the best 2-year programs in the country, and in 2002 I completed my degree in Photography at Daytona State College. I show...
